Chapter 10
I have learned to use the Pythagorean Theorem in relation to circles. I have also learned how to find the circumference using diameter and radius. I have learned formulas for finding secant lines and tangent lines. One career that may involve this chapter would tire makers. They would need to know the circumference of the tire. The tangent lines would relate to the ground.
One question I have is how to find arc lengths. It really confuses me.
The arc length most of the time is the same as the angle. Like if angle ABC was 47 degrees then the arc AC is also 47 degrees. :)
ReplyDeleteThe way you find an arc is by two ways. 1.) You look at the angle and see if it is on the circle or if it is on the side if it is on the middle, you know it is equal. 2.) If it is on the side, you multiply the angle by two to get your answer.:))))))))))))))((((((((((((((:
